Join us for an evening as Food scientist and Cake extraordinaire, Kelly Barlow, leads a masterclass on decorating and finishing a Naked Cake.

Kel will be sharing her top tips and knowledge to help you prepare a beautiful dessert for you to share with your guests.

 

You will have the opportunity to work through a step-by-step demonstration, sharing tips in preparing and layering a 4-layer cake, using different icing finishes and piping techniques, and adding the perfect (and delicious) decorative touches to finish.

  • How to work with different tools to professionally prepare, level and layer a 4-layered 7” cake

  • Two different icing techniques, the semi-naked finish and a naked finish

  • How to beautifully decorate your cake using a range of edible ingredients and fresh florals
